Over the past two years, Voyage Federal Credit Union has been present at one of the larger music festivals in the area, the “605 Summer Classic”. The two day event
brings not only an incredible level of quality for musical acts but other activities such as the Saturday regional beer tasting or the Sioux Falls Roller Dollz dunk tank for a cause. If you are hungry the local food trucks will hit the spot and afterwards you can head over to play bean bags in front one of the two beer tents. Voyage always brings two people (3 if you are including Charles the mannequin) and they set up on Friday and hang out through midnight on Saturday. Last year we brought our hashtag wall and had attendees tag their picture with our personal hashtag to enter for an Apple Watch drawing. This year we had them signup on an iPad for a chance to win. Then we sent them over to make arts and crafts at our neighbor booth, JAM Art & Supplies. Each year we have noticed that there are more younger people becoming familiar with not only credit unions but Voyage, stating how they have seen the “Stiff Banker” around town on billboards and videos. Congrats to Amanda on winning the bright green Apple Watch this year! Voyage is happy to be a part of this local, culture rich musical festival that the Midwest can call their own.
