Voyage High School Scholarships
There is one $1,000 award available for use by full-time students enrolled in an accredited college, university, trade, or technical school for the 2023-24 school year.
- 2023 – 2024 scholarship deadline is Friday, April 14th, 2023.
- Applications are available at all credit union branches and on our website from February through April.
- Scholarships are awarded to recipients on May 16th, 2023 at our Annual Meeting.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
• Be a graduating high school senior
• Be a primary Voyage FCU member in good standing
• Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director, or committee member
• Not be a previous Voyage High School scholarship winner
How to Apply
In your mailed submission, only include:
• A one-page written essay describing an activity or organization in which you’re involved and why it’s important to you
• A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader who is not related to you
• A completed, signed scholarship application form
Please also request a high school transcript be mailed to Voyage FCU in a sealed, stamped envelope.

Thomas Wolff Memorial Scholarship
Thomas Wolff Memorial Scholarship
The Thomas Wolff Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Voyage FCU board member, Thomas Wolff, to be used toward higher education expenses. There is one $1000 award available for use by non-traditional students enrolled in an accredited U.S. college, university, or technical school for the 2023-24 school year.
- 2023 – 2024 scholarship deadline is Friday, April 14th, 2023.
- Applications are available at all credit union branches and on our website from February through April.
- Scholarships are awarded to recipients on May 16th, 2023 at our Annual Meeting.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
• Be 21 years or older
• Be a Voyage FCU member in good standing for at least a year
• Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director, or volunteer
• Not be a previous Thomas Wolff scholarship winner
How to Apply
In your mailed submission, only include:
• A completed, signed scholarship application form
• A one-page written essay describing an activity or organization in which you’re involved and why it’s important to you (guidelines below)
• Copies of certificates, awards or lists of achievements, community and extracurricular activities, work experience, and church functions

Darla Erb Leadership Scholarship
Darla Erb Leadership Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2020 to honor Darla Erb, who served as President/CEO at Voyage FCU for over 20 years. She believed that a commitment to lifelong learning, growing your skills and service to others in our communities are vital steps towards personal excellence and compassionate leadership. There is one $1,000 award available for qualified applicants.
- 2023 – 2024 scholarship deadline is Friday, April 14th, 2023.

- Scholarships are awarded to recipients on May 16th, 2023 at our Annual Meeting.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
• Be a graduating high school senior applying for admission into a program at an accredited college or technical school OR be an adult currently enrolled at an accredited college for technical school
• Be a female Voyage FCU member in good standing for at least one year
• Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director or volunteer, or an immediate family member of one
• Not be a previous Darla Erb scholarship winner
How to Apply
In your mailed submission, only include:
• A one-page written essay (Typed, no more than 500 words) describing how your selected education and career path will help you achieve your personal aspirations and help you with service to others
• A completed, signed scholarship application form
• An official high school transcript
• Student applicants: Please provide two written recommendations, one from a department head/advisor, teacher or professor, and one from an employer or volunteer agency director
