UPDATE ON 04.15.17
Because every journey is different! We truly believe this tagline of ours—especially now, as our journey is taking us eastward to Dawley Farm Village. Our Dawley Branch is now under construction with an updated design unlike anything you’ve seen at our other branches. The planned opening is set for Thursday, June 1st and Lewis will be closing on May 24th to get ready.
As a credit union, we wanted to offer a more modern approach to financial services to our eastside members. That’s why we are relocating our current eastside branch—inside the Lewis Drug at 26th and Sycamore—to Dawley Farm Village. This will allows us to better serve our members and the community.
At this new branch, we will continue to offer everything you’ve come to expect from our other Voyage FCU branches—including one-to-one personal service, as well as new self-service options available. These include drive-thru ATMs that accept deposits and can make account-to-account transfers, in addition to dispensing cash.
Whether you need to make a quick stop through the drive-thru or need more hands-on service, we always look forward to members visiting the branches, so stop by and see us! On your visit, the Voyage FCU team will welcome you with a beverage and can walk you through questions about your current accounts or talk you through your financial dreams and needs.
UPDATE ON 09.12.16
In an effort to usher in a new era in the institution’s history, Voyage Federal Credit Union (FCU) broke ground on September 8th, 2016 at what will be the newest location on the eastern side of Sioux Falls. The branch, currently housed at Lewis Drug at Sycamore Avenue and 26th Street, will move into the Dawley Farms development on the eastern edge of the city for an opening in Spring 2017.
Voyage FCU CEO Darla Erb said that the groundbreaking marks the credit union’s continued strides in taking a modern approach to financial services. She said the goal is to have a full-service branch with self-serve features in order to empower members to transact in the way they choose and in ways most convenient to them.
“It will help improve our member experience and further build member relationships with our neighbors and the Sioux Falls community,” Erb said of the new facility, which will include updated technology, leasable tenant space and a community meeting center. “Our goal is a friendly, warm, open and welcoming atmosphere. We hope members and others come out and experience this branch for themselves when it opens next year.”
In its push for more self-service options, Voyage FCU has implemented a call center, full-featured mobile app, ATMs and online banking enhancements. The interactive technology feature in the new facility will not, however, replace personalized, one-to-one, in-person service, which will still be available.
The institution also hopes to partner with an insurance agency in its new space, and another tenant which will feature a shared waiting area with the credit union.
“At Voyage, we strive to make a difference,” Erb said. “This branch will carry out our mission to create long-lasting relationships with our members. It is because of member loyalty, and the commitment and support from the community that we continue to grow and succeed.”
