There’s more to being a Voyage FCU member—especially if you plan to graduate high school or go back to school in the near future. Our scholarship program aims to give a budgetary boost to our graduating members for use toward college tuition and fees. Check out our current scholarships and apply today!

SCHOLARSHIPS
Voyage High School Scholarships
There are TWO $1,000 awards available for use by full-time students enrolled in an accredited college, university, trade, or technical school for the 2024-25 school year.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
Be a graduating high school senior
Be a primary Voyage FCU member in good standing
Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director, committee member, or an immediate family member of one
Not be a previous Voyage High School scholarship winner.

Applications are available at all credit union branches and on our website from March through April.

Scholarships are awarded to recipients on May 21st, 2024 at our Annual Meeting.
How to Apply
In your mailed submission, only include:
A one-page written essay describing an activity or organization in which you’re involved and why it’s important to you
A letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or community leader who is not related to you
A completed, signed scholarship application form
An official high school transcript must be submitted/included with the application packet

Thomas Wolff Memorial Scholarship
The Thomas Wolff Memorial Scholarship is given in memory of Voyage FCU board member, Thomas Wolff, to be used toward higher education expenses. There is one $1000 award available for use by non-traditional students enrolled in an accredited U.S. college, university, or technical school for the 2024-25 school year.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
Be 21 years or older
Be a Voyage FCU member in good standing for at least a year
Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director, committee member, or an immediate family member of one
Not be a previous Thomas Wolff scholarship winner

Copies of certificates, awards or lists of achievements, community and extracurricular activities, work experience, and church functions
A completed, signed scholarship application form

Darla Erb Leadership Scholarship
The scholarship was established in 2020 to honor Darla Erb, who served as President/CEO at Voyage FCU for over 20 years. She believed that a commitment to lifelong learning, growing your skills and service to others in our communities are vital steps towards personal excellence and compassionate leadership. There is one $1,000 award available for qualified applicants.
Who Can Apply
All applicants must:
Be a graduating high school senior applying for admission into a program at an accredited college or technical school OR be an adult currently enrolled at an accredited college for technical school
Be female members, primary account holders at Voyage FCU, and in good standing
Not be a Voyage FCU employee, director, committee member, or an immediate family member of one
Not be a previous Darla Erb scholarship winner

How to Apply
In your mailed submission, only include:
A one-page written essay (Typed, no more than 500 words) describing how your selected education and career path will help you achieve your personal aspirations and help you with service to others
A completed, signed scholarship application form
An official high school transcript must be submitted/included with the application packet
Provide a written letter of recommendation from a department head/advisor, teacher, or professor, OR from an employer or volunteer agency director
