Michael (Mike) Gardner is a financial professional with many years of experience in credit union operations and management. As the Vice President of Operations at Voyage FCU, Mike plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring the efficient functioning of the credit union.
With over 43 years of service in the credit union financial industry, Mike has demonstrated a dedication and commitment to excellence when delivering financial services to credit union members. He began his credit union career at Good Samaritan FCU in 1980 and joined Voyage FCU in 2021. His working experience has created a wide knowledge base by working with compliance, risk management, organizational management, human resources, and member service. He is passionate about promoting financial literacy, and economic empowerment for consumers.
Mike holds a bachelor’s degree from Iowa State University in Finance/ Marketing and a Master of Business Administration degree from South Dakota University.
In his spare time, Mike enjoys playing tennis or golf and spending time with his family and friends.
