About Santa:
Sioux Falls Santa's journey from an occasional Santa stand-in to a professional and beloved Santa Claus is a heartwarming story of dedication and authenticity.
As a Behavioral Health Specialist, at Avera McKennan Hospital, his journey began as a fill-in Santa for a fundraiser, The Festival of Trees. This turned into whenever a Santa was needed, he was always ready to step in. However, he soon realized that if he was going to continue to be Santa, he wanted to do it right.
Sioux Falls Santa earned his bachelor's, master's, and advanced master's, as well as in 2023 he completed his Doctor's degree in Santa Clausology from the International University of Santa Claus under the instruction of Hollywood Santa, Tim Connaghan. To expand his reach, he started a website and a Facebook page, making it easier for people to request his presence at various events. He views his role as a business and is committed to spreading holiday cheer authentically and professionally.
Santa is also a member of the organization Santa America and volunteers through the Avera McKennan Hospital and University Health Center in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, as he is retired from his position as a Behavioral Health Specialist.
