About Joe Hoose:

Joe Hoose serves as the Executive Director of Talent Management & Administration for the University of South Dakota Foundation, a position he has held since 2018. Joe has a long tenure serving organizations as a human resource professional.

He currently resides in Vermillion with his wife, Erin, and two boys (Emmett & Oscar). He received his bachelor’s from the University of Iowa and later received his master’s from the University of South Dakota. He is an avid Coyote fan and a proud supporter of the Coyote community.

About Alissa Matt:

Alissa Matt is the Assistant Vice President for External Relations at the University of South Dakota. Before beginning this role in December 2023, Alissa spent over 7 years with the USD Foundation and Alumni Association.

She and her husband, Eric, have lived in Sioux Falls for 10 years and are the parents of Tom & Lucy. Alissa received her B.A. and MBA degrees from USD in 2013 and 2019 respectively. She is originally from Yankton, SD.
